The question has sat on OpenAI's developer forum since June 2023 without an official answer (論壇討論串). Below: what each OpenAI bill accepts, what Kunavo's checkout offers in India, and every step from signup to the first GPT call. Prices and payment methods checked 2026年10月3日.

ChatGPT and the API platform have separate billing systems (OpenAI 說明中心), so a ChatGPT plan paid by UPI does not carry over.

The “OpenAI integrated UPI” headlines are about ChatGPT, not the API: UPI for ChatGPT plans, and an agentic-payments pilot by NPCI, Razorpay and OpenAI for paying for shopping inside ChatGPT with UPI (2025 年 10 月 13 日報導; Razorpay 的公告 gives ordering groceries from BigBasket as its example, checked 2026年10月3日). Neither changes how API credits are bought.

直接支付給 OpenAI 的方式

• The minimum credit purchase is $5低於 Kunavo 的 $10 最低金額; the default amount is $10 (預付計費文章).

• Updating the API payment method can put a temporary $5 authorization hold on the card, reversed within 7 days (OpenAI 說明中心).
• Prepaid cards cannot buy API credits, and OpenAI's decline article notes that some banks block certain online or international transactions by default, alongside 3D Secure failures (OpenAI 說明中心).

Indian cards have also hit problems on OpenAI's side. In September 2024 an OpenAI staff member said on the developer forum that an India payment failure came from OpenAI's 3DS setup with Stripe under India's e-mandate rules (論壇貼文). That is a 2024 report, quoted as background on why some developers in India look for a route that needs no card at all.

Models that are paused on Kunavo are not listed.

您需要的項目

1. 建立帳戶

使用電子郵件或 Google 帳戶註冊。註冊時不需要卡片。

2. 在 Billing 頁面選擇金額

開啟 Billing 並選擇加值金額。由於每 token 費率以美元計算，金額以美元設定；下一個畫面會在您確認前顯示盧比數字。較高的加值金額可獲得獎勵：pay $100, get $110; pay $1,000, get $1,200; pay $5,000, get $6,250。

3. 在 Stripe 結帳頁面選擇 UPI

按鈕會開啟由 Stripe 託管的結帳頁面。當頁面以盧比顯示金額時，UPI 會與卡片並列於付款方式清單中。印度不提供 Link（Stripe Link 文件），而且 Stripe 不會向印度 IP 位址顯示 Apple Pay 或 Google Pay（Stripe 錢包文件），因此若要使用 GPay、PhonePe 或其他 UPI 應用程式付款，請選擇 UPI。

4. 在 UPI 應用程式中核准付款

On a desktop, scan the QR code with your UPI app; on a phone, Stripe redirects you to the UPI app (Stripe 的 UPI 文件, checked 2026年10月3日). Check the rupee amount and approve it.

5. 等待餘額入帳

Stripe 將 UPI 描述為即時付款。Stripe 確認付款後，Kunavo 會為餘額加值，並且每筆加值只記錄一次。由於此結帳頁面最近才提供 UPI，如果餘額尚未顯示，請在再次付款前重新整理 Billing：第二筆付款會被記錄為第二筆加值。

Kunavo's prices are in US dollars. When the checkout is shown in rupees, Stripe converts at a rate that includes a 2–4% conversion fee, which the buyer pays (Stripe 自適應定價文件, checked 2026年10月3日). Paying in dollars by card avoids that fee, but UPI only appears in a rupee checkout, and your bank may add its own foreign-exchange markup to a dollar card payment.

需要了解的限制

• UPI 需要盧比結帳頁面。 Stripe 僅在付款以 INR 顯示時提供 UPI。VPN 或位於印度境外的網路可能會將結帳頁面切換為其他貨幣。
• 每筆 UPI 付款 ₹1,00,000。 Stripe caps a single UPI payment at ₹1,00,000 (Stripe), so the $5,000 top-up has to go by card；某筆 $1,000 加值是否適用，取決於結帳頁面顯示的盧比金額。
• UPI 不支援自動加值。 自動加值僅適用於已儲存的卡片，因此每次 UPI 加值都必須手動完成。在印度電子委任規則下，尚未測試自動加值是否適用於印度發行的卡片。
• 不提供 GST 發票。 Kunavo 不開立 GST 發票或任何其他稅務發票。Billing 會列出每筆加值的日期、金額與狀態。
• 退款。 Refunds are case by case under the 計費政策, which lists the cases it covers, such as an accidental double top-up. On Stripe's side, a UPI payment can be refunded up to 60 days after it was made (Stripe).
• 不提供的付款方式。 盧比結帳頁面會顯示卡片與 UPI，因此不提供網路銀行、PayPal 與現金。RuPay 不在此結帳頁面已確認的卡片品牌之列（Visa、Mastercard、Amex、JCB、UnionPay）；不需要卡片的付款方式是 UPI。
• 這是 API，不是 ChatGPT。 Kunavo 餘額可支付 GPT 與 Claude API 呼叫，但不能支付 ChatGPT Go、Plus 或 Pro，也不會向 platform.openai.com 帳戶增加任何額度。

如果沒有顯示 UPI

僅在結帳頁面使用盧比時才會顯示 UPI。Stripe 會根據您看似所在的位置選擇貨幣，因此指向印度境外的 VPN 或代理伺服器可能會將貨幣切換為美元。請關閉 VPN 或代理伺服器，並使用您將付款的網路重新從 Billing 開啟結帳頁面。
