Claude Opus: price
The latest Claude Opus 5.5 is cheaper than its predecessor in Anthropic’s pricing: $4,00 / $20,00 versus $5,00 / $25,00 for Claude Opus 5. At Kunavo, it costs $2,80 / $14,00 (Opus 5: $3,50 / $17,50). It also has a cheaper cache read: 5% of the input price instead of 10%. Opus 5 mainly makes sense when you have prompts finely tuned for that model; for new projects, it is better to start with Opus 5.5. For tasks that do not require Opus, Sonnet 5 costs less than either one.
How much does one request cost, and how much does an agent step cost?
The price per million tokens tells you little until you convert it into the cost of a specific request. Two typical examples, without cache: a short chat question (2000 input tokens, 500 output tokens) and one coding-agent step, for example in Claude Code (approximately 25 000 input tokens: system prompt, history, code snippets, and tool results; approximately 1200 output tokens).

Cache: how much prompt caching saves
W pętli agenta każdy krok wysyła prawie ten sam kontekst co poprzedni. Example: the same agent step (25 000 / 1200 tokens), but 22 000 input tokens come from the cache, while 3000 new tokens are written to it. The proportion is illustrative; in a long session, the cache share may be even higher.

- Claude Sonnet 5 ($1,40 / $7,00): a sensible default choice for programming, agents, and most applications.
- Claude Opus 5.5 ($2,80 / $14,00): more difficult, lengthy tasks and complex code when Sonnet is not enough.
- Claude Fable 5.1 ($7,00 / $35,00): the highest-end and most expensive option in the comparison. Reserve it for tasks that genuinely require it.

- In the Billing tab, choose a top-up amount. The minimum is $10; larger amounts receive a bonus (payment → balance: $100 → $110, $1000 → $1200, $5000 → $6250).
- On the Stripe payment page, check the amount in złoty and choose BLIK.

Can I pay for the Claude API in Polish złoty with BLIK?
Yes. When you pay from Poland, the Stripe payment page shows the amount in złoty and offers BLIK, Visa and Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. Stripe’s exchange rate includes a 2–4% currency-conversion fee; paying in dollars avoids it (your bank may then charge its own conversion fee), but BLIK works only in złoty. The minimum top-up is $10. Automatic top-ups require a saved card or Link because a BLIK code can be used only once. Does the balance expire, and am I charged for failed requests?
Your Kunavo balance does not expire and there is no monthly fee, while failed requests are not charged. By comparison, credits purchased directly in Anthropic Console expire one year after purchase and are non-refundable. The minimum Kunavo top-up is $10.
Does Kunavo issue VAT documents for businesses?
No. Kunavo does not issue any VAT documents, whether Polish or from other countries, and the payment page does not ask for a tax identification number. In the Billing panel, under “Recent payments,” you can see the date, amount, and status of each top-up; for accounting matters, you can write to contact@kunavo.com. If your company needs VAT accounting directly from the provider, Anthropic Console lets you enter a VAT number when the address qualifies, and Anthropic’s prices do not include tax.
Does a Kunavo top-up pay for Claude Pro or Max?
